From an etymological point of view, ecology means the study of the home and in scientific terms it is the study of the interactions determining the distribution and abundance of organisms.
For this reason it is essential to monitor all dimensions of biodiversity in operational terms considering its different levels (genes, species and ecosystems) and attributes (composition, structure and function)
Our main reason for existing is to conserve biodiversity and its ecosystems, build resilience and work to support the health and function of habitats, organisms and their ecosystemical process.
